Recovering and Recipes and Such

Finally recovered from a 24hr stint between the bathroom and the couch and not being able to keep anything in my stomach. What a grueling 24hrs that was. Luckily my mother is the sweetest, kindest person ever. After she came home from her doctor's appointment, she took care of me. My dad also attempted to take care of the both of us and he wasn't feeling good either. Let's just say I'm really lucky to have such caring parents who will hold my hair back while I...

Anyway, have had plenty of time to do some work on the computer, watch cooking shows, and search pinterest. I need to get back in the kitchen and do what I love most - create food for the people I love.
Been stumbling on a lot of good blogs/foodblogs out there. Here are some of my favorites:

I've been asked to make chocolate bark for my dad's work pre-Thanksgiving Holiday party...
So it'll be chocolate, dried cherries, pistachios, walnuts, dried apricots, and fleur de sel. Made a test batch today and can't stop thinking about it....SALTY AND SWEET YUM!
